There’s a lot cooking over at Twelves Grill & Cafe and something tells us it’s more than great food. Chef Tim, at this West Grove farm-to-table eatery, has upcoming plans to compete in a few food challenges and whip up a wine dinner while he’s at it.
The Mushroom Festival – Sunday, Sept. 9
Chef Tim is competing in the Soup & Wine event on Sunday, September 9th. He plans on crafting up a mushroom masterpiece and wants you to give it a try. If you fancy it over the other entries, which is a big possibility, toss him a vote. The event unfolds from 11 to 4 p.m. and costs just $10 for several soup samples. Twelves Day – Wednesday, Sept. 12
It’s the 12th day of the month which means tasty fun for every diner! Join them to enjoy a 3 course prix fixe lunch menu for just $12 on Wednesday, September 12th. Reservations are highly recommended!
Chester County Restaurant Festival – Sunday, Sept. 16
Chef Tim is getting put on the chopping block this year for the first time at the Chester County Restaurant Festival. He’s prepared to go against returning champ Jon from Amani’s BYOB and a few other heavy hitters in the Chester County Culinary Challenge. It’s free to watch these talented chefs duke it out on Sunday, September 16th at the West Chester Court House steps. Be there by 2 p.m. to catch the whole competition and loads of food fun! Kreutz Creek Vineyard Winemaker Dinner – Thursday, Sept. 27
Twelves Grill will be holding a wine dinner on Thursday, September 27th, beginning at 6:30 p.m., featuring wines from the Kreutz Creek Vineyard. The wine makers, themselves, Carole and Jim Kirkpatrick, will be joining to pair their wonderful, locally produced wine with Chef Tim’s wonderful menu. The cost of the event is $65 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Chef Tim will be working on the menu and sending it out when it is ready. Their wine events fill up very quickly, so make reservations fast!
