Go-To Guide to Chestnut Hill’s Harry Potter Weekend, Featuring Hogwarts Classes, Quidditch Tournament, Pub Crawl, Movie Screenings & More

The streets of Chestnut Hill will transform into a real life Harry Potter setting beginning Friday, October 26th. A variety of Hogwarts happenings are set to unfold for three days straight, welcoming fans of all ages to partake in the spectacular celebration of J.K. Rowling’s books. Select restaurants and retailers such as The Night Kitchen Bakery will be joining in on the fun as they change their name to Madame Puddifoot’s Tea Shop while re-enacting the book’s characters and offering special menu items.

The Harry Potter Pub Crawl may be particularly appealing to those who fancy something more than a Butterbeer now and again. The pub crawl will take place on Friday night from 7-9 p.m. along Germantown Avenue. Participating restaurants include Chestnut Hill Grill, Roller’s Expresso, Bredenbeck’s Bakery, McNally’s, Tavern on the Hill, Flying Fish, and Iron Hill Brewery. We’re particularly excited about the magical elixirs, treats, and costume contest that will await crawlers at Chestnut 7’s stop. Advanced reservations are required so be sure to call (215) 247-6696 and secure your spot.
