New Non-Profit Furniture Bank Planned for Chester County

A new Chester County initiative is moving forward to provide household good and furnishing to those in need – at no charge. The Community Warehouse Project of Chester County is a non-profit furniture bank that is looking for the space to grow. They are hoping to find a warehouse for their benevolent cause.

“I receive calls every day from people who want to make donations, unfortunately we have nowhere to accept, store and distribute to people in need,” said Sheree Richnow, President of Community Warehouse Project of Chester County.”

A few of the nonprofit partners of CWPCC are Interfaith Housing, ACT in Faith, The Domestic Violence Center, Safe Harbor, Chester County Department of Aging and area churches. They are all working together to make sure people receive the basic essential furnishings needed for minimum human existence.
