The two brothers who started Pronto are expanding, with help from the entire Ruffini family.
Nick and Ron Ruffini opened Pronto a year ago in an old Swiss Farms store on Eagleview Boulevard, offering the unique concept of serving fresh Italian food for takeout only, and serving the meals through a drive through window.
This morning, Pronto announced the following news on their Facebook wall:
Over the next few months we’ll be transforming our “Ruffini’s Restaurant” in Thorndale into a Pronto, which will bring you your Pronto favorites and more…including sit down dining, banquets, catering and a full bar. But, no need to wait, we’ll be back in there starting on Black Friday, November 23rd (Bar Only) serving up refreshing beverages and a new and exciting menu will be introduced around December 1st. After a long 18 months, we’re excited to return to Ruffini’s and serve the great folks of Thorndale and beyond.
Thanks for your continued support and patronage and we’re looking forward to seeing you in Exton and Thorndale!
Salute!
Ron, Nancy, Ronnie, Nick, Nina and Tania Ruffini
Nick and Ron had honed their cooking skills at Ruffini’s Restaurant in Thorndale, which has been owned at various times by their uncle and their father. The Exton Pronto has been a hit with busy families and folks who work in the nearby business park. They will continue to serve according to their motto: Fresh. Italian. Fast. We wish the Ruffini family good luck with this new second location!
