Here’s your chance to taste some Sour/Wild Ales from around the world. Side Bar & Restaurant invites Russian River Brewing Company beer lovers and those who are just brew-curious to sample the finest selections from California, Belgium and Italy. The Craft Kegs & Eggs event is unfolding Sunday, July 8, at 11 am. The microbrewery of Sonoma County will feature their Russian River Supplication, Russian River Sanctification. The Supplication is a Sour Brown Ale Aged in Pinot Noir Barrels with Sour Cherries but if that doesn’t suit your drinking fancy then give the Sanctification a try. It’s a 100% Brettanomyces Fermented Golden.
Also available for the drinker’s enjoyment will be Baladin Nora Sour, Duchesee de Bourgogne, Ichtegems Flemish Sour, Liefman’s Oud Bruin. You’ll have your hands full of choices from spiced ale brewed with ancient ingredients to traditional top fermented reddish-brown ale and all that’s in between. Whatever beer you choose, or if you try them all, Side Bar’s tasty Brunch menu will certainly have something delicious to go with it. Sounds like the perfect way to use up a Sunday! Cheers!
