Join Dan Shaw, Certified Cicerone® and manager of Pinocchio’s Beer Garden To Go, and Julie Jenney, educational programs coordinator, for an afternoon of tasting, learning, and talking about beer at The Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College on July 28th, 3 – 6 pm.
If you attended last summer’s class, don’t fret. This Saturday course will be jam-packed with great new beer knowledge and of course, will feature a fresh line-up of brews to taste.
This class will cover the brewing process and the botanical components of beer: plants from the grass family such as wheat and barley but also the fruits, spices and, of course, hops! In-depth descriptions of each beer will guide you through the tasting.
Cost is $30 for members, $40 for non-members, which includes the top-notch selection of beer and hearty, delicious snacks. Click here to register.
Find The Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College at 500 College Avenue in Swarthmore. Class will take shape in the Gillespie Room of the Wister Center.
