Seventh Wonder, a local environmental and social outreach group, announces that as of March 15, they have received borough approval to built a community garden in Phoenixville!
Seventh Wonder will spend the next month growing community support for the project. They invite all locals to attend their next meeting, to be held on Wednesday night, March 21st, at Molly Maguire’s Irish Restaurant & Pub (197 Bridge Street, Phoenixville). During the meeting (set to be held on the third floor), there will be a forum on “The New American Garden” presented by Donald Pell, which will be begin at 7 pm, followed by a presentation on “Food for All” given by Triskeles.
Following the presentations, the Seventh Wonder will host a public meeting – this will be your chance to get involved! Discussions considering the garden are anticipated to begin around 8:30 pm.
