The Chester County Hospital wants diabetes to know who’s boss…yet again. That’s why they’re hosting the 18th Annual Diabetes Day on November 10th at the West Chester University Graduate Business Center (located within the Greenhill Corporate Park at 1160 McDermott Drive).
Those who are interested may join the Hospital’s Diabetes Self Management Program for a FREE educational and enjoyable half-day event all about living with diabetes. The special day will include vendor displays, education, advice, giveaways and light refreshments. Attendees will be provided all the necessary tools to manage their diabetes and take optimal care of themselves. Participants will receive a comprehensive care guide to help break down all of the areas of care one needs to consider. The guide will provide check lists, referral sources, and ample resources to help manage care.
Endocrinologist Christopher Bruno, D.O. will be on site to present an informational lecture on how to best stay on top of your care. Time will be allotted to explore the vendor mall before and after the presentation.
Space is limited for this free program. Pre-registration is required by calling 610.738.2300 or visiting cchosp.com and searching “Diabetes Day.”
