Maria has received numerous awards for her music, including six Grammy nominations.
It’s been 39 years since Maria’s mega-hit landed on the Billboard charts and she is still going strong, now covering her favorite genre, the Blues. In 2011, she released her latest album titled, “Steady Love,” where she recorded in New Orleans, her musical and spiritual home. Steady Love reached the #1 position on the living blues radio charts.
