Black Walnut Winery’s Third Annual Blues Festival Slated to Unfold May 25 & 26

You definitely want to save the date for this. Black Walnut Winery will be hosting the third annual Blues Festival at its location in Sadsburyville on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.!

Enjoy the blues on the winery’s outdoor deck and patio Saturday and Sunday with no admission fee. Wine tastings, wine by the glass and wine by the bottle will be available for purchase. Bring your own wine glass for this fun, free event, or purchase one from Black Walnut. Forno Inferno will be on site making and selling gourmet wood-fired brick oven pizzas.

Blues artists scheduled for Saturday are as follows:

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Scott Wham will bring on the blues, rock and soul, from the stripped down grooves of Motown to the high lonesome sounds of Appalachia.

3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Sister Blue, the “belter of the blues,” fronts a driving blues band with powerful vocals and stinging guitar leads as well as an acoustic duo that plays blues and ragtime as well as original compositions.

The Sunday lineup features:

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Bushmaster, featuring Gary Brown, will play funky, guitar-centric, blues-rock music that enlightens as well as entertains.

3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Deb Callahan Band‘s creative blues, soul and roots-influenced original music features Deb’s powerful, emotionally expressive voice and engaging stage presence to deliver a unique, high energy live show.

Bring your own blanket or chair! Please note: No other alcohol is allowed on site.
