The master of all meat curers, the culinary genius behind Brauhaus Schmitz‘s legendary sausage, and the man responsible for a beloved Wursthaus Schmitz in the Reading Terminal Market is taking his career up yet another notch on February 2nd with a debut at the James Beard House in New York City.
The Beard Foundation offers a variety of events and programs designed to educate, inspire, entertain, and foster a deeper understanding of culinary culture and Brauhaus Schmitz is excited to be involved with such an experience. Jeremy Nolen will be serving up a tasting of modern German cuisine, enjoyed next to boutique wines at the Beard House event. Drinks will be presented by Marnie Old of Old Wines, LLC and the menu looks more than satisfactory. Chock full of the meaty goodness that makes Jeremy Nolen a chef that everyone knows and loves, this meal will surely deliver an unforgettable, most delicious experience.
The dinner begins at 7 p.m., costs $130 for James Beard member admission and $170 for the general public. Brauhaus Friends and Family should contact Marci ([email protected]) for special ticket pricing. Take a peek at the menu HERE – one that’s worth prosting to – and don’t forget to reserve your spot shortly after. Open tables won’t last long!
