The annual Anson B. Nixon Park’s Concert Series kicks off tonight (Wed., June 19) and in honor of this summer’s music series jump-starting, Town Dish’s Claire Murray spoke with Daniel Pishock, manager and promoter of The Kennett Flash and booking agent for the Summer Concert Series. Hear what he has to say about building this year’s music lineup below.

“When approaching this year’s Summer Park Series, my approach was ‘something for everyone.’ Whether you’re into Jazz, Folk, Indie, or just want to hear something familiar from years past, this year’s series is sure to leave you satisfied. The series opens with the high-energy sounds of Live at the Fillmore: the DEFINITIVE Allman Brothers Tribute whom I am certain will set the bar pretty high for the rest of the series. It closes on August 7th with a band who needs no introduction around these parts: The Spinto Band. I really hope this series draws in people from all walks of life both in and out of Kennett Square.”
