Kennett Brewfest Presents Second Annual Winterfest, Tickets on Sale Dec. 4 at Noon

Kennett Brewfest’s seasonal younger brother, Kennett Winterfest, returns for winter 2014, unfolding Sat., Feb. 22, 12:30–4 p.m. But, those beer-loving locals eager for the upcoming tasting fest better pay attention to this: tickets go on sale as of tomorrow, Dec. 4, at noon. They will sell out—so you better act fast!

Spend your wintertime Saturday taste-testing your way through a hearty list of local and regional breweries, sampling Country Butcher‘s fare, and enjoying the sounds of Shady Groove Trio featuring Bernie Gillespie, Matt Kresge and Mark Swartley.

Kennett Winterfest Ticket Information

  • General admission tickets are available for $65 per person, which includes unlimited tastings, a food ticket nabbing you Country Butcher delights, and live music.
  • Designated driver tickets available at $20 per person.
  • To up the ante on your Winterfest experience, snag an exclusive spot at the brand-new Def Conn session for $85, which unfolds an hour before the main event (11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.). [This first-year private tasting’s name is derived from def, short for definitely, and conn, connoisseur abbreviated—as in, this session is definitely for the connoisseur.]
    • Only 50 tickets are available for this year’s connoisseur session, which includes three Victory barrel-aged beers and Victory mixology, oysters and shrimp from George & Sons Seafood, sushi from Lily’s, cheese & charcuterie from Country Butcher, and of course, entrance into the regular festival including the food ticket.

Winterfest 2013 Attendees

Tickets are available online only. Tickets will not be sold at the gate. Kennett Winterfest unfolds in downtown Kennett Square, held on South Broad Street (between State and Cypress Streets). The Kennett Winterfest is a fundraising event for Historic Kennett Square, a non-profit 501c3 organization, whose mission it is to actively support and enrich community vitality and pride, to help preserve the historic district and small town atmosphere, to promote economic and positive, productive relationships within Kennett Square and the surrounding townships.
