March 16: The Gallerist (the Philadelphia folk scene’s best kept secret), with Dirty Soap Blues Band and Doug Durlacher; featured brewer: San Francisco’s Anchor Brewing Co.
March 23: Denise Moser’s Record Release Birthday Show with special guest, American folk singer-songwriter Anne Hills; featured brewer: Goose Island Beer Co., Chicago’s craft beer of choice.
March 30: Brooklyn’s own Maggie Poulos, with Ocean Carolina, an alt-country band straight outta Brooklyn; featured brewer: TBA
MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore has live music all the time, but what’s special about this month’s shows is the booze. MilkBoy Coffee borrows MilkBoy Philadelphia’s liquor license for select, invite-only events. Score an invite by visiting MilkBoy’s website and signing up for the mailing list. Wait for the newsletter to arrive in your inbox, and then buy a ticket (a great deal, at just $8–$12). Tickets are limited to the first 85 purchasers, so when you get that email, act quickly!
