Farm to table is stepping aside to make room for a more rugged friend, forest to table. Not familiar with the concept? Then Saturday, April 13 will be the perfect time to get acquainted. Natural Lands Trust is hosting a one of a kind Forest To Table Tour at Hildacy Farm Preserve with Evan Strusinsky – forager for David Chang’s Momofuku, and Mario Batali’s Del Posto. Guests are invited to explore the delicious world of edible plants with Evan’s educated lead, then head indoors to discover how foraged ingredients can become gourmet dishes.
Comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle are highly recommended for this event. Once the tour transitions indoors, Natural Lands Trust will provide beverages and small plates made from foraged bounty. Preregistration is required.
