A new play is hitting the stage at People’s Light & Theatre Company on March 13. The Trip to Bountiful is a classic tale of a character longing to return home. In this case, Carrie Watts’ hometown is called Bountiful and her beautiful but heartbreaking story is being told by one of our country’s greatest writers, Horton Foote, who created the screenplay for To Kill a Mockingbird and many other popular shows.
The Trip to Bountiful, directed by Abigail Adams, will run until April 7. Those interested in attending may buy their tickets online or call 610-644-3500. Also available during the show’s runtime is a fantastic dinner deal with The Farmhouse and Bistro at People’s Light & Theatre. Guests attending a show can enjoy a southern prix fixe dinner and a show for just $65 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The price is $75 on Fridays and Saturdays. Plus, if you already have tickets, you can add the dinner for just $30! Sounds like a delicious deal to us. More details below!
