POSTPONED: Six-Course Brew Foods Tasting Slated at Heirloom During Philly Beer Week, Unfolding June 5

Heirloom is getting in on the fun of Philly Beer Week with a special Brew Foods Tasting featuring six sumptuous dishes and a dozen American and international craft beers. This one-of-a-kind dinner will be held Wednesday, June 5, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Chef Al Paris is partnering with craft beer distributor Nevulis Beverages from Schnecksville, Pa., for this ethereal beer and food experience. “Guests can walk around and taste some really delicious dishes that pair beautifully with the incredible collection of craft beers that we have assembled,” said Paris. “This is my favorite way to sample beer and experiment with flavor pairings.” Representatives from every brewery will be on hand to answer questions and offer beer and menu pairing suggestions.

The menu will feature:

  • Smoked Galveston Shrimp with Fennel Pollen Crème
  • Braised Shortrib with Fresno Jam
  • Raspberry Cured Salmon with Chive Gelee
  • Duck Breast with Black Olive Tapenade
  • Shropshire Cheddar Tart with Caramelized Apple
  • Wild Mushroom Strudel with Truffle Mustard

  • Collesi, Appecchio, Italy: Rosso Red Ale
  • HighNoon, Leavenworth, KS: Raspberry Wheat
  • Fishtale, Olympia, WA: Oatmeal Stout
  • 3 Heads Brewing, Rochester, NY: Rochestafarian Wee Heavy Ale
  • Cottrell Brewing, Pawcatuck, CT: Mystic IPA
  • Thomas Creek, Greenville, SC: Dopplebock
  • Naked, Trevose, PA: Pomegranate Wheat
  • Spire Mt., Olympia, WA: Pear Cider
  • Birra Montenetto, Brescia, Italy: Pilsner
  • Lake of Bays, Ontario, Canada: Pale Ale
  • Hoppy, Sacramento, CA: Amber Ale
  • Lacu, Belgium: Blonde Ale
