Have you been to a Story Slam?
The Delco Story Slam is a monthly storytelling night where anyone can get on stage and tell a story based on the theme of the night. No notes, no props, no music. Just the storyteller and a mic. The winner of each Story Slam is invited to return for the Grand Slam in November, and go head-to-head for the title of Best Storyteller of Delco!
The 2013 Story Slam Season, which is being held at Burlap and Bean in Newtown Square, kicks off on Wednesday, January 23rd, at 8 p.m., with the theme of “Good Intentions!” Burlap and Bean is an amazing coffeehouse with an excellent array of food, coffee and lattes. In addition, you can BYO! Tickets can be purchased directly from Burlap and Bean here.

They recommend purchasing tickets in advance through Burlap and Bean’s events page, which can be found here.
