When Is Food Taken Too Far?

Here at PA Eats, we love food. A lot. But sometimes even we have to raise an eyebrow at some people’s—what’s a nice way to say it?—devotion to food.

So we thought we’d ask you, our faithful readers, what you think about these food-lovers’ accessories, which we spied in an article on Great Britain’s Daily Mail online. This plastic food jewelery is sold by Fake Food Hatanaka at prices starting at around $15 for a pair of salami earrings.

Now, pizza is one of our very favorite things in the world, but we’re just not sure we’d wear a pizza collar. Or a bacon hairband. Or a sausage necklace.

Would you proclaim your love of food with any of the accessories offered by Fake Food Hatanaka? (See more selections here.) When does one’s love of food go just a little too far? We’d love to see what you have to say.
