Dreaming of a getaway? Enter the 2013 People’s Light & Theatre Company‘s Auction Raffle for your chance to win a one-week, seven-night stay for up to eight people in Chianti, Tuscany, at the Poggio delle Rose!
This sublime hilltop farmstead is located in the center of Italy’s “Golden Triangle” between Florence, Siena and Pisa. Surrounded by 24 acres of vineyards, olive groves, and woods with stunning views of the gently rolling hills leading to the ancient towers of San Gimignano, the farmstead’s main house sleeps eight comfortably in four bedrooms. A beautiful garden path leads to a shared swimming pool. Within walking distance is a family-owned restaurant, grocery store, pharmacy and one of the oldest churches in the area. The nearest train station is in the picturesque walled hill-town of Certaldo (45 minutes to Florence; 40 minutes to Siena). Perfection!
People’s Light will also provide the winner with $1500 in spending/traveling money. The stay, valued at $6000, must be used within one year of drawing.
Raffle tickets are $100 each; only 225 will be sold. All proceeds benefit the theatre’s education programs, Arts Discovery at People’s Light.
The drawing will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at the People’s Light Live Auction at The Farmhouse. You need not be present to win, but you must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
