Kick off your summer with a food-fueled event in one of Pennsylvania’s most historic places, Gettysburg! Gettysburg Fest—a celebration of the performing, visual and culinary arts—will be kicking off its seventh year starting on June 11. Here’s a look at the culinary events being showcased over the course of five delicious days:
Victorian Tea at Beech Springs Farms
When: June 11
Location: Beech Springs Farm, 784 Mount Carmel Road, Orrtanna, PA
That most perfect ritual, The Victorian Tea, will be specially prepared by Places Through Time Living History and served in the beautifully restored 1867 barn at Beech Springs Farm. You will be treated to three teas and a delicious five-course meal along with a light-hearted look at just how seriously the Victorians took their tea. Seating is limited to 60 guests. (Not recommended for children under 12.) Cost is $35 per person prior to June 1, $40 per person June 1 until June 6. No reservations accepted after June 6. See the menu!
Edible Art Tour: History Meets the Arts
When: June 12
Location: Gettysburg College
Tour all five art venues on the Gettysburg College campus and sample mouth-watering culinary creations by Gettysburg area’s leading chefs and popular restaurants. Gallery-restaurant pairings will feature:

Old Fashioned Pie and Ice Cream Social

Location: Near the XFinity Stage

What goes better with a warm summer day in a park than pie and ice cream? Come out to the Gettysburg College campus to enjoy the Family Celebration Presented by PNC Bank and WellSpan, and take a walk down memory lane to a simpler time with the sounds of traditional brass band music and the taste of homemade pie and ice cream, courtesy of Kennie’s Markets and Turkey Hill Dairy. Cost: $3 for one serving, $5 for two servings. Limited to the first 200 guests.
First Annual Waiter-Waitress Challenge
When: June 14
Location: Gettysburg College

Gettysburg is known for some really fabulous dining. Serving all of the tasty culinary creations are some of the best servers in the business, too. A fun obstacle course will challenge each participant to determine which waiter-waitress team is the best in the Gettysburg region! Blues BBQ Featuring Nate Myers & The Aces + Octavia
When: June 14
Location: Fitzgerald Auto Malls Main Stage
Enjoy some mouth-watering BBQ and the full complement of sides and desserts. All-you-care-to-eat dinner from 4–8 p.m. includes three beverages. Guests will also have access to reserved seats for Nate Myers & The Aces and Octavia performing from 4–10 p.m. Cost: $12.50 (concert only) or $38.50 (BBQ and concert).
