After the buzz and craziness of the holiday season, treat yourself to a session (or two!) at The Philadelphia Inquirer Travel & Culinary Expo, unfolding February 21–22. If you’ve been bitten by the travel bug or just suffer from a little case of wanderlust, this event should make its way onto your priority list. This is your chance to meet with exhibitors to learn about budgeting, travel options, vacation rentals and so much more as they gather under one roof at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia.
Come for the food samples, cooking demonstrations, prizes and giveaways. You’ll sample bites from Fat Jack’s BBQ in Malvern and Brittingham’s in Lafayette Hill.
Topping our radar at this year’s show is the craft beer tastings at the Mid-Atlantic Craft Beer Pavilion. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample beers from over 15 different breweries, offering nearly 30 different beers up for tasting. Participants include local greats Victory Brewing Company, Boxcar Brewing Company and Wyerbacher. Purchase your tickets for the Beer Pavilion in advance for $25 or $35 at the door. Each ticket allows entry into one tasting session, complimentary admission to the Travel Show and unlimited samples from participating breweries.
Valley Forge Casino Resort is located at 1160 1st Ave. in King of Prussia. Grab your tickets and learn more here.
