Earlier this summer, our team was presented with the opportunity to explore all that Dauphin County has to offer in the way of food and drink. Considering we love food, drink and traveling, this was obviously a no-brainer.
Of course we’d love to come scope out the scene! One of the many stops on our tour was to Dauphin County Parks & Recreation. We interviewed Michelle Hornberger in the hopes she’d be able to give us some leads while we were in uncharted territory. She certainly knows her stuff!

Jazz & Wine Festival: September 5–7 at Fort Hunter Park in Harrisburg. This event features world-class performers and local wine—what’s not to like?
3rd in the Burg: This event is run by The Burg Magazine. Local art studios, museums, restaurants, food trucks and more help celebrate beautiful Midtown Harrisburg. This event runs every third Friday.
Antique Automobile Club of America’s Annual Fall Meet: Held in Hershey, Pa., in the beginning of October, antique cars from all of the United States come to Hershey’s Giant Center.
