Any reason to head to John J. Jeffries Restaurant in Lancaster is a good one. Add in the fact that the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) will be taking part in the evening and it’s even better.
On Saturday, June 28, the Summer Celebration Dinner will be taking place and featuring a wide array of culinary items. Start with a reception featuring artisan cheeses, regional fruits and local breads and then move on to the main event, a four-course dinner with soup, salad, choice of entrée and incredible dessert selections. Also, a regional beer and wine selection will be offered.
PASA, the sponsor of the event, is a nonprofit organization that promotes profitable farms and the production of healthy food for all individuals, all the while keeping the environment in mind.
The event on June 28 starts at 5 p.m.; dinner begins at 6 p.m. Tickets to this event are $150 per person, $275 for two guests or $1,500 for a table partner, which includes eight tickets. All proceeds will benefit PASA.
