Is There a Taste You Hate? Try & Try Again.

When I was a kid, there were so many foods I simply refused to eat. Mushrooms tasted like dirt, tomatoes were too mushy and olives were overly bitter. As an adult, I’ve managed to overcome some of my food aversions. I’ve simply decided to tolerate these formerly unwelcome guests on my plate.

Can your tastes change over the years? Frank Bruni of The New York Times says an unequivocal “Yes!” Mr. Bruni has learned to love beets, oysters and coconut water as he gave up preconceived notions and allowed his tastes to grow up.
