Whole Foods Market Devon is celebrating as well with a number of great events happening throughout Philly Beer Week. Pints for Paws with Weyerbacher and Delco SPCA (May 31)
On Saturday, May 31, head over to Whole Foods Market Devon from noon–3 p.m. for this free and fun event. Dogs and cats from the Delco SPCA will be there to warm your hearts and win you over. In addition to the adoption event, Delco SPCA will also be accepting pet supply donations. Hot dogs will be grilling, live music will be playing and Weyerbacher samples of Last Chance IPA will entice the crowd. Proceeds from the sales of Last Chance IPA are donated to local animal shelters by Weyerbacher, so it is easy to see why this event collaboration is quite fitting.
Brews and Brunch Featuring John Francis and Sixpoint Brewery (June 1)
On Sunday, June 1, from noon–9 p.m., the Mile Post Pub will be featuring breakfast brews from Sixpoint Brewery and delicious made-to-order breakfast sandwiches. Dine and sip to the sounds of John Francis for a perfect Sunday brunch.
Beer Cupcakes with Dia Doce and 5% Day for Delco SPCA (June 4)
Enjoy beer cupcakes by Dia Doce, a winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, and help support the Delco SPCA with the Whole Foods Market Devon 5% day. Cupcakes and Victory beer combine to create the perfect finished product. Cupcakes available while supplies last from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Between noon and 9 p.m. on Friday, June 6, join Philly’s leading beer distributor, Bella Vista, for one incredible tap takeover. Expect hard-to-find releases and interesting hand-picked selections elevating the event. What could make it better? Made-to-order fish tacos! Sounds like a proper PBW party, doesn’t it?
Town Dish & Whole Foods Market cHopped Competition (June 7)
Enjoy a cooking competition like no other when PA Eats crew and Whole Foods Market Devon come together to pull off this spectacular event. Local celebrity chefs will compete and create culinary masterpieces in a 90-minute pop-up kitchen presentation with Yards brew and a secret ingredient. Guest appearances by Theo Charitos of Red Cedar Grille, Jonathan Amann of Amani’s BYOB and David Walti of Harvest.
Sour Power & Shrimp Boil (June 8)
Between noon and 9 p.m., the Sour Power event at Whole Foods Market Devon will be catering to the sour brews crowd. Stop in and sample 5 oz. glasses of Brettanomyces-fermented beer for a unique beer option. Better yet, to enhance the experience, Whole Foods will also host a delicious shrimp boil, a tantalizing combo of spicy shrimp, potatoes and corn. Pair it with delicious tart brews and you have one fantastic meal.
