Victory Craft Beer-Inspired Gourmet Cheese Expands, Now in 7 States

Victory Brewing Company‘s popular gourmet cheese spreads, made in collaboration with Key Ingredient Market, are so yummy that folks in bordering states are clamoring to get a taste. To satisfy the cheese-deprived masses, more Whole Foods Markets will now carry the popular spread—in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and central New Jersey (in addition to original locations in Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, New York and western Connecticut).

The ultimate in cheddar cheesy, craft beer goodness, the three spreads, which hit shelves in June 2014, blend specialty Wisconsin cheddar with best-selling Victory beer brands. New locations carrying the product include Jenkintown, Glen Mills and Devon in Pennsylvania; Cherry Hill, Marlton and Princeton in New Jersey; Columbia and Annapolis in Maryland; Alexandria, Old Town and Virginia Beach in Virginia; and Chagrin, Cleveland, Cedar Center, Cincinnati and Mason in Ohio.

Retailing at $6.99, Victory Cheddar Spreads merge the fresh, quality ingredients and long-standing traditions of both companies to create interesting flavor profiles for cheese and beer advocates alike. Flavors include HopDevil Cheddar Spread, with bold and balanced flavors of HopDevil Ale acting as the perfect foil to jalapeños and chipotles in a creamy cheddar base; Headwaters Cheddar Dip, a blend of pineapple, papaya, ginger and curry with the crisp, clean essence of Headwaters Pale Ale; and Golden Monkey Cheddar Spread, which profiles the spicy, herbal qualities of the light-bodied, full-flavored beer with the classic, creamy tang of cheddar.

“Our collaboration with Key Ingredient Market has been so well received, not only by Victory fans but also new customers who value wholesome, high quality delicious foods,” said Victory’s President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski. “We are thrilled to ‘spread’ our love of craft beer and artisanal food products to more regions, especially those close to home.”
