It looks like 320 Market Cafe in Swarthmore has begun its expansion process. The new construction will conjoin the existing cafe with the former Swarthmore Beverage next door. On Sunday, the restaurant announced what few details they have so far via a Facebook post:
“For those of you not paying attention…
We have (finally) started our expansion!
No, I don’t have a final date yet…
No, I don’t know (exactly) how many seats yet…
No, there won’t be a salad bar!
Yes, this will improve both the shopping and dining experience!!!!
For our staff, my brother and me, this has been a long meandering path to this point…
We’ve tried a million things. We’ve worked a million hours. We’ve sold to millions of customers.
So, as I do often on these posts, I thank you for your incredible support…
I ask for your patience…
And I hope you are excited as we are.
Buckle up! This could get bumpy. But eventually, we will all land in a better place.“
