Easter presents plentiful options for families and kids of all ages to enjoy! From Easter egg hunts to interactive brunches, you’ll find a wide array of choices in and around Philadelphia to take part in during the Easter season this year.

Here are nine of our top picks:

East Passyunk Easter Egg Hunt (March 24)

The Easter Bunny is coming to East Passyunk on Saturday, March 24. Bring the kids down to the Avenue for a free Easter egg hunt in South Philadelphia Older Adult Center‘s Outdoor Garden, located at East Passyunk Avenue and Dickinson Street. Kids will decorate egg-collecting bags, pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny, enjoy music courtesy of WBEN-FM, and then hunt for eggs. The eggs will be filled with toys and candy. Check for special golden-ticket eggs, too, which will be filled with gift certificates and prizes for kids and parents, alike. (Turn in your golden tickets at the prize table by 1:15 p.m.).

Egg hunts will be held at different times, according to age group. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes before your child’s age group:

  • 11:00 a.m.: Ages 4 and under
  • Noon: Ages 5–7
  • 1 p.m.: Ages 8–10

Bunny Hayrides at Linvilla Orchards (March 24–31)

Hop over to Bunnyland at Linvilla Orchards to enjoy a fun family hayride to the Easter Bunny’s house! Bring your camera along for the bunny photo ops. The Easter Bunny will also be handing out special treats to visitors who stop by. Easter Brunch at Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden (April 1)

On Sunday, April 1, Suburban Restaurant & Beer Garden will welcome Easter with a fantastic brunch feast from 10 a.m.–4 p.m., which the whole family is sure to love. Easter Sunday brunch specials will include pineapple ham, schnitzel beans and scalloped potatoes and lamb shoulder steak, curried eggplant, roasted watercress, tomato, preserved lemon and goat yogurt tzatziki.
