Now Open in Newtown Square: P.J. Whelihan’s

The P.J.W. Restaurant Group has just added a new location to its restaurant list with the addition of P.J. Whelihan’s in Newtown Square.

The latest P.J. Whelihan’s opened its doors for a soft opening in mid-January and it will celebrate the official grand opening on Monday, January 29. The new location is situated in Edgmont Shopping Center at 4803 West Chester Pike, a prime locale for shopping and dining in one convenient spot.

The menu will contain all of your P.J. Whelihan’s favorites. Some of the standout dishes include its famous wings, available in 12 signature sauces; Loaded ‘Tater Tots with melted American cheese sauce, bacon, green onion and sour cream drizzle; Bangin’ Bacon Stack Burger, complete with melted smoked cheddar, crispy bacon, sweet tomato spread and pepper horseradish sauce; and Salted Caramel Cookie, a tempting dessert of sweet and salty cookie dough mixed with brown butter, white chocolate, crispy pretzel bites, sea salt and crunchy Heath toffee pieces topped with whipped cream.

P.J. Whelihan’s Newtown Square will have two bars inside which will feature an extensive offering of beer, wine and spirits. Expect a whopping 48 brews on tap, ranging from lagers to stouts and everything in between!

The interior, consisting of approximately 7,000 square feet, will be complete with 54 HD televisions (a sports fanatic’s dream!). It’ll be the perfect spot to gather with friends and family to hang out, relax and watch a variety of sporting events. The décor throughout will exude warm wood tones, exposed ductwork and decorative beams for an industrial feel. An additional feature at the newest P.J. Whelihan’s will be the four-season room, which will accommodate private parties, and a porch for relaxing and dining during the warmer months.

P.J. Whelihan’s in Newtown Square is now open! Be sure to stop in soon for lunch, dinner or happy hour, and don’t miss their grand opening celebration on Monday, January 29!
