The new owners of the Stottsville Inn are the members of the Quinn family, including Michael Quinn and his two sons, Isaac and Jake. The father, Michael, is a general contractor, specializing in historic renovations, and son Isaac is a well-traveled chef, having worked in the kitchens of Barbuzzo, Lolita, Little Nonnas, Mercato and Good King Tavern. Jake is a recent business major graduate from UNC Wilmington. With their well-rounded collective backgrounds, it was no wonder that the restaurant business was calling the Quinn name.

In order to bring the new Stottsville Inn up-to-date while retaining its historic charm, the Quinns removed the old carpeting, revealing the 1850’s heart pine wood flooring. They’ve added interior windows to the dining room and expanded the bar area. In addition, the family is currently improving the nine lodging rooms within the establishment, including removing the carpets to show the wood floors and adding shower stalls. The kitchen has doubled in size, thanks to the recent renovations, with an added wood-fired grill and two-deck pizza ovens.

The bar will feature 24 beer taps and 8 wine taps, split evenly between red and white wines. The beer taps will be a largely rotating selection, with a spotlight on seasonal craft beers, as well as beloved domestic and imports such as Yuengling, Budweiser, Pabst and Guinness. Signature cocktails will also be offered, such as “The 1858” made with Knobb Creek bourbon, house-made smoked maraschino cherries and angostura bitters, and finished with a fresh flamed orange twist.

The Stottsville Inn will have a friends and family soft opening on May 11 and 12 and will be open to the public on Wednesday, May 16, starting at 4 p.m.

General hours of operation will be Wednesday through Sunday, from 4 p.m.–midnight, with kitchen service available until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 p.m. on all other days. There is also some talk about possibly serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays in the near future.

Congratulations to the Quinn family on this exciting venture and be sure to follow the Stottsville Inn Facebook page for all of the finer details!

Once open, find the Stottsville Inn at 3212 Strasburg Rd. in Coatesville; phone: (484) 718-5121.
