In 2014, Geo began chronicling his adventures in eating on his Instagram account @geostable. This quickly evolved into a food and lifestyle blog (of the same name) which is inclusive of soulful recipes, restaurant recommendations and home design tips. The blog has been featured in WHYY’s Check Please Philadelphia, Apartment Therapy, Food 52, Philadelphia Magazine, and The Washington Post!

We’ll be chatting with Geo about his journey from food enthusiast to content creator, his take on the local restaurant community right now, and about his podcast, Table 86. This project, which he founded in November 2019, centers on creatives of color who are transforming the landscape of the food and beverage industry. As a creative of color himself, Geo has always felt it important to use his platform to uplift others and to share their stories.
