First Friday Art Stroll – Willow On State Launches New Show

In conjunction with the Kennett Square First Friday Art Stroll on October 7th, WiLLow On State Art Gallery will be launching their latest art show.

This Friday’s opening will include new mixed media and photo collages by Nathan Laing, an artist and photographer who owns Habitat Studios in Downingtown.

New works by mixed media artist Nanci Hersh will also be displayed. Nanci’s work has been exhibited in Japan, Australia, and throughout the United States.

Maya Winters will also be exhibiting new paintings.

In addition, authors included in the newly released Chester County Fiction will be on hand to sign books and chat about their writing experience. Local writers Peter Cunniffe and Terry Heyman will discuss the inspiration behind their fiction and the collaboration process.

WiLLow on State also carries an eclectic mix of hand-crafted jewelry, used and new vinyl records, and vintage books. They have released a schedule of art classes for fall. Classes will include jewelry making, portrait drawing and creative writing classes. Stop by, check out the art, chat with a fiction writer and pick up a class schedule!

wiLLow On State is located at 331 East State Street in Kennett Square. They are open Wednesday and Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday and Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Follow them on Facebook too, by clicking here.
