The upcoming Kennett Brewing Company Annual Harvest Run/Walk on Saturday, November 18, will combine invigorating exercise and refreshing brews to benefit local nonprofit organization, the Kennett Food Cupboard.
Beginning at 2 p.m. at Anson B. Nixon Park, participants will take part in either a 5K run or 1.5-mile walk. For $30, pre-registered participants will receive a free t-shirt and beer. Registration is also available on the day of the event for $35 per person (without the t-shirt and free beer).
All individuals who participate are welcome to attend the after-party at Kennett Brewing Company, plus receive $1 off their food purchase when they show their race bib. Want another way to get a good deal at Kennett Brewing Company on the day of the race? Simply bring in some canned goods to donate and you’ll receive $1 off of your beer purchase.
At the after-party, awards will be presented to the first-place male and female runners within each age group. All proceeds received from the race registration, along with all canned goods collected from the month-long food drive, will be donated to the local Kennett Food Cupboard.
Register today to secure your spot and get your free t-shirt and beer during the event!
