Destination Gettysburg Launches The Pour Tour, a Craft Wine, Beer, Spirits and Cider Trail (May 11)

Get ready for a whole new way to explore the bounty of Adams County, Pennsylvania: through its new craft beverages trail, The Pour Tour! Starting Friday, May 11, this self-guided journey will take Gettysburg-area visitors to some of the best wineries, breweries, distilleries and cideries in the region.

Thirsty Adams County explorers can request a special free passport and trail map, which can be picked up at any Official Adams County Pour Tour Partner location, at the Destination Gettysburg office (571 West Middle Street in Gettysburg) or the passport and trail map can be sent to you via mail. Then, as you travel the town and countryside, collect stamps as you visit the various tasting rooms and destinations on the trail map.

The Pour Tour

Each stop along The Pour Tour will earn you a stamp on your passport. To ramp up the fun, prizes will be offered for each level of participation! Here’s what’s on offer:

  • 5 Unique Stamps = Excursionist
    • You’re a beverage vagabond. A taste-seeker with a wayfaring heart. You’ve found your way to your first FIVE samplings and have your eyes set on the next leg of the journey. Your prize is a set of Adams County Pour Tour coasters.
  • 12 Unique Stamps = Explorer
    • You’re Bev-curious. An intrepid libation seeker who has scoured TWELVE way-stations of liquid bliss. Your Adams County Odyssey is in full swing. Your passport pages look like the Olympic flag. Your prize is an Adams County Pour Tour tote bag.
  • 20 Unique Stamps = Expeditionist
    • Grand Pour Tourist – You have a true thirst for adventure. You’ve collected a stamp from every Pour Tour stop and style. But this is not the journey’s end. It’s merely time for a fresh new passport! Your prize is a set of Adams County Pour tour pint glasses.

If you complete the trail, you will receive an official celebratory award and you’ll be able to keep your passport.
