Like any holiday, it’s best to plan ahead for your celebration. So, with National Cheese Day coming up on Monday, June 4, Famous Toastery in Exton has something big in the works!
In honor of this cheesey holiday, Famous Toastery is giving away complimentary grilled cheese sandwiches to kids ages 12-and-under all day this Monday (6/4) at the restaurant located within the shops on Main Street at Exton.
In addition to the kids’ special, all adults who dine at the Famous Toastery on National Grilled Cheese Day will receive 50% off any grilled cheese melt on the menu, including the following sandwich masterpieces: ham and bacon served with cheddar on sourdough; chicken salad with cheddar on wheat; turkey and brie with raspberry puree on sourdough; avocado and bacon with cheddar on white bread; or tuna salad with pepper jack on rye. All sandwiches are served with a side of chips and a pickle, and kids can choose between cheddar, pepper jack, American and Swiss cheeses for their creations.
“Everybody loves grilled cheese, especially kids,” said Owner Chris Phillips. “We decided this would be a fun way to give back to our customers, and with some of the most delicious comfort on the planet. We have some fantastic grilled cheese melts with specialty toppings for adults to enjoy, so we hope to see a bunch of families for this cheesy, delicious celebration of one of America’s favorite foods.”
