Prohibition Taproom Celebrates the One-Year Anniversary of ‘Fried Chicken and Cider Tuesdays’ (March 6)

On Tuesday, March 6, starting at 5 p.m., Prohibition Taproom will celebrate its one year anniversary of “Fried Chicken and Cider Tuesdays.”

For this special event, guests will enjoy delectable fried chicken, which is celiac-friendly and gluten-free as it is cooked in a designated fryer for the chicken alone. In addition to the usual offerings of half and full portions ($16/$30), on this special night Prohibition Taproom will offer an optional $25 prix fixe menu, utilizing naturally celiac friendly ingredients in a first and third course, which will bookend a half order of fried chicken.

Prohibition Taproom will also be quenching your thirst with exciting cider and drink offerings to pair alongside your fried chicken dishes, including the following:

  • Two new Shacksbury drafts (Ticonderoga & Yoder) offered in tasting- or full-sized pours
  • Shackbury’s Lost & Found poured by the glass
  • Boilermakers with any Shacksbury cans paired with a shot of Lairds Straight Apple brandy
  • Two apple-based cocktails
  • Hermit Thrush Brewings “Brattlebeer,” a wild ale fermented with local Vermont apples.

The cider and beer offerings listed above will be available in 5-ounce or 10-ounce pours, and prices will range from $5–$10.
