Savor Gettysburg Food Tours are gearing up for a fifth season of touring the picturesque locale of Gettysburg. If touring while sipping and sampling along the way is what you crave, you’re going to want to reserve your spot for an upcoming tour ASAP!
Walking tours with Savor Gettysburg Food Tours are held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April through December, from 10:45 a.m.–1:45 p.m. Tour guests will enjoy sampling food offerings and beverages from participating establishments which reflect Gettysburg’s expansive food scene.
Each three-hour walking tour is led by a knowledgeable guide who, in addition to the different food tastings, also takes tour-goers through the historic streets of downtown Gettysburg’s weaving stories of the past along the way.
“Food tours are all about telling the story of our historic town in a most delicious way. It’s the perfect way to combine, food, culture, history into one memorable mouth-watering experience,” says Lori Korczyk, tour director.
Choose from five carefully designed food tours including the following: Historic Downtown Food Tour, Wine, Cider & Dine Tour, Farmer’s Market Tour & Cooking Class, Field-To-Fork Agritourism Experience and for the holidays, the 12 Tastes of Christmas Food Tour.
The price will vary depending on the type of tour selected, and all tour prices include the food and beverage tastings.
Group bus tours, as well as private tours for special events, are available upon request. Tours can also accommodate dietary restrictions.
