As we’ve seen over the past few months, Gettysburg’s brewing scene is experiencing a major boom! And we’re excited to see another beer-centric spot is now open and ready to serve its thirsty patrons.
On Monday, June 18, Tattered Flag Brewery & Stillworks celebrated its grand opening of a new tap room at 45 Steinwehr Avenue in Gettysburg. As you may know, Tattered Flag is a veteran-owned and operated business, with a focus on giving back to the communities around them, while providing a one-of-a-kind experience.
Not only is Tattered Flag a brewery, it also is a distillery, creating everything from tequila to rum to vodka to whiskey. The brewery and distillery are located at Tattered Flag’s original spot in Middletown, Pa.
The new Gettysburg tap room has five taps that are constantly rotating new beers from the brewery, and a full lineup of cocktail options, if that’s your thing. Margaritas, whiskey sours, spiked root beer floats and bay breezes are a few favorites. And, though the tap room doesn’t have a kitchen, you can grab bags of chips to snack on.
Enjoy a cold brew or try a premium cocktail and #RaiseAFlag at Tattered Flag’s brand-new location! Stop by Sunday–Thursday from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.–11 p.m. While you’re there, pick up some cans or a bottle of something to go, too!
