Hot (or should we say, cool?) tip: A “Coming Soon” sign was spotted in this storefront window next door to WCHE on West Gay Street in downtown West Chester, announcing the arrival of an outpost of Bango Bowls, a small acai bowls and cold brew coffee chain. It appears that the only other Bango Bowls locations are currently a handful of shops in Long Island, New York, but we’re glad to see West Chester, Pennsylania among its locations for expansion!
As expected, the menu includes a variety of smoothies, acai bowls, fancy oatmeal and a few varieties of cold brew coffee. The menus for the Long Island shops seem to have a local bent to the names of the items, like the Fire Island Sunrise oatmeal with pineapple, mango and coconut shavings and the Coastal Craft Cold Brew. Perhaps West Chester’s shop will have locally-inspired dishes, as well?
