On Sunday, from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., indulge in a special live jazz brunch at aMuse. Chef Jennifer Salhoff recently rolled out a new brunch menu, so come try the fresh additions, like cast iron sourdough pancake and Bourguignon hash with shredded short rib, kale, jus, pommes anna and a sunny-side-up egg. Aqimero
For a mom who loves to glam it up, head to Aqimero, situated in the lobby of the fabulous Ritz-Carlton Hotel, smack in the middle of everything in Center City Philly. For $95 per person, enjoy an upgraded brunch menu, including a la carte entrees, multiple stations and a house-made bloody mary, mimosa or bellini for adults. The menu includes a raw bar, fancy toasts (lobster avocado toast, we’ve got our eye on you), a carving station, sweet and savory entrees, and a selection of sweets, too. Barbuzzo
Stop into this buzzy Midtown Village mainstay on Sunday, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., for a special, prix fixe three-course brunch menu at $40 per person. To start, try the the shareable smoked salmon tartine or asparagus and haricots vert salad; entrees include eggs florentine with seared shrimp, brioche french toast with lemon ricotta and mixed berries, and Lolita huevos rancheros with pork carnitas, among others. For dessert, choose from a tempting selection, including Barbuzzo‘s infamous salted caramel budino (recently reimagined as a limited-edition choco taco). Little Nonna’s
The cozy, charming atmosphere at Little Nonna’s is the perfect place to brunch the morning and afternoon away. A three-course Italian prix fixe feast is on offer from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., for $40 per person. Creative twists on favorite classics, such as the Early Morning Bucatini (cacio e pepe all brunched up!), spicy Eggs in Purgatory with housemade fennel sausage and the South Philly Breakfast sandwich await. Urban Farmer, a farm-to-table steakhouse right on Logan Square, is dishing up a deluxe Mother’s Day brunch buffet on Sunday from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. (good for those early risers).
