There are a lot of places in Pennsylvania to get a great frozen margarita, but you don’t need to wait for date night at your favorite Mexican restaurant to enjoy this most festive of cocktails. We’ve got a great recipe that our friends from Humankind Beverages brought along to the Pennsylvania Kitchen for super refreshing frozen teagaritas using Humankind’s Organic Jasmine Lime Green Tea. The tea, which combines the pretty floral notes of jasmine with a seriously tangy kick of lime, is such a good mixer for these “teagaritas,” as we like to call them. Plus, the recipe couldn’t be simpler: Basically, pour all of the ingredients into blender and go! No fancy margarita machine required.
Humankind Jasmine Lime Frozen Teagarita
- 1 bottle Humankind Organic Jasmine Lime Green Tea
- 3 ounces tequila
- 2 ounces triple sec
- Juice of 1 lime
- Tequila salt or sugar and fresh lime wheels, for garnish
- Pour the green tea, tequila, triple sec and lime juice into a blender. Add enough ice to reach the top of the liquid.
- Blend on high speed.
- Swipe a lime around the rim of each glass and then dip into tequila salt or sugar. Pour the blended margarita into the glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
