The Red Ryder is a punched up, party-perfect cocktail that’s as pretty as it is delicious! Rye whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup and red wine create layers of flavor. An egg white adds a luscious, velvety texture.
Makes 1 cocktail
- 1.5 oz. Bluebird Distilling Rye Whiskey
- .75 oz. lemon juice
- .75 oz. demerara syrup
- egg white
- 1.5 oz. Chaddsford Red Wine
Add all ingredients, except red wine, into a cocktail shaker. Shake with ice, then strain into another cocktail shaker.
Reverse dry shake (shake with no ice) to intensify the egg white’s frothiness.
Pour into an old fashioned glass and add ice, preferable one large cube.
Gently pour red wine over the ice cube to create a layered effect.
