Warm up with these comforting apps that recall the flavors of vegetarian mushroom stroganoff, a wintertime favorite.
- 4 ounces of mixed mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 fresh baguette
- 365 Everyday Value sour cream, for garnish
- Fresh tarragon, for garnish
- Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss mushrooms with the olive oil and salt and roast in a baking pan for 12–15 minutes.
Slice the baguette into quarter-inch slices and toast.
Top each slice with mushrooms, sour cream, chopped chives, tarragon, and salt and pepper, to taste.
