What did we do in the summers before pop-up beer gardens were a thing? We can’t even remember! Luckily, these wonderful outdoor spaces keep proliferating, with no signs of slowing down. The Gables at Chadds Ford recently announced that it will be hosting a beer garden on its beautiful back terrace on Thursdays in July, as well as on a few select other dates.
From 5 to 10 p.m., rain or shine, come sip beers and enjoy the relaxing ambiance at The Gables every Thursday in July. (If it rains, the banquet room will be transformed into the beer garden.) Guests can enjoy four beers on tap, in addition to a deep can and bottle list. Wines and Summer Berry Peach Sangria will also be on offer, for those not in a beer mood. For snacks, order from the bar menu, and finish each visit to the beer garden with a sweet treat: a s’mores bar with homemade flavored marshmallows!

Take advantage of the lovely grounds at The Gables at Chadds Ford and try your hand at lawn games, like cornhole and giant Jenga. And don’t leave without a trip to the charming little camper-turned-photo-booth on wheels for your own photo memento of a summer evening well spent.
